Jubilee Celebrations

Like many others, we are delighted to join in with the national celebrations to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and would be delighted if you are able to join with us too!

Family Church is a monthly gathering at SFC on the first Sunday morning of each month. It is designed for the whole family, lasts for about 50 minutes and is accompanied by refreshments.

Born to Be Queen’ is the theme of the next Family Church series, inspired by the forthcoming Platinum Jubilee of the Queen.

1st May – Jezebel, A Wicked Queen. The power struggle of good versus evil. Arrive for a 10.30am start and refreshments will be served afterwards at approximately 11.30am. 
5th June – Elizabeth, A Servant Queen. A celebratory time looking back at the 70 years of our queen’s reign. The service beginning at 11am will be followed by a community lunch. To help with seating and catering please reserve your place for either or both events.

For the lunch please bring your own savouries. Drinks and a ‘jubilee pudding’ will be provided.
Activities for children will be provided.

3rd July – Esther, A Courageous Queen. The exciting story of a Jewish queen and a Persian king concludes the series. This week will feature a puppet theatre. Arrive for a 10.30am start and refreshments follow at approximately 11.30am.
