Verse of the Day
Unfortunately due to Government restrictions our building is again closed for Sunday Services
However we will continue to broadcast via YouTube which has no restriction on location! Please click here to be taken to our YouTube Channel
If you know of someone who does not have internet facilities but would like to receive either a weekly DVD or CD of our services please contact us via the contact page on this website. Thank you.
Unfortunately to comply with current government restrictions all our regular activities have been suspended. Although please see our Free Bees page (under Activities) for an exciting new support group. Please continue to watch this space for further updates for all other activities! Our leadership are continuing to monitor the situation and are keeping under prayerful review the future re-opening of all other activities. Unfortunately along with most other churches the current view is that it will be some time before we can fully re-open.
In line with government guidance, before starting any activity we have and will continue to conduct the relevant risk assessments, and have ensured appropriate measures to keep us Covid19 secure have been put in place.
Jesus is the Light of the World
This year we were unable to hold our annual Light Party so decided to do something different! Continuing our theme of Light we joined the Staplehurst Halloween trail and offered a homemade hot soup, drinks, cakes and a craft activity based on lighthouses, for children to take home to do.
If you would like to see our lighthouse and amazing variety of carved pumpkins please take a look at our photo gallery by clicking here or at our video for 31st October on our YouTube channel which you can access by clicking here
We will remember them
In this year of Covid19, complicated by a second lockdown which prevented any Remembrance Day parades taking place, the amazing creative team at SFC came up with another way to show our village’s support for all those who have died in the two World Wars and other conflicts.
# Purple Lights UK
November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness month. As a church we have been touched by pancreatic cancer and the speed with which it kills so soon after diagnosis. Not for nothing is it known as the “silent killer”. So in memory of two much loved former members of the church Stan Twort (who was one of our founder members) and Dr. Nigel Minett (one of our deacons and a popular local GP) we have participated in Pancreatic Cancer UK’s #PurpleLights campaign. If you would like to learn more about their work and the symptoms of pancreatic cancer to look out for please click here.

There is Hope!
During recent months a number of the church contributed to a musical project entitled “There is Hope”. We hope you like it! The video is now available on our YouTube channel but can also be viewed by selecting play below
